The Minnesota Gophers defeated the Purdue Boilermakers 70-67 on ESPN last night at Williams Arena. It was a huge win for the Gophers, having lost at Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Ohio State already. They are now 13-4 overall and 2-3 in Big Ten play. It was just the 2nd loss for the Purdue Boilermakers and first in Big Ten play. Blake Hoffarber led the way with 26 points and showed his range all night nailing three's. Trevor Mbwake had 7 points and 10 rebounds.
