Minnesota Hockey Agrees To Join Big Ten Hockey Conference
The Minnesota Gophers Men's Hockey Team has been a member of the WCHA for a long time. That will all change in the 2013-2014 as Minnesota will join Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State as part of the new Big Ten Hockey Conference. Each team in the league will play 20 conference games and gives each team a minimum of 14 non-conference games, depending on NCAA exemptions. It was a big change but hopefully a change for the better in college hockey.
