No matter how the Gophers football team performs next year, at least they will look good doing it. The Gophers football team will be unveiling their snazzy, newly-designed Nike gear at an event at TCF Bank Stadium in mid-Janary.The Gophers have released a photo of their helmets, but not the uniforms. The new helmets feature a textured maroon finish, the Gophers' traditional block M helmet decal, black facemasks, black chinstraps, a block M above the facemask, each player's uniform number on the back of the helmet and the traditional Minnesota cheer "Ski-U-Mah" on the back of the helmet.
