The Minnesota Gophers were defeated by the Penn State Nittany Lions 33-21 at TCF Bank Stadium on Saturday afternoon. In the loss, Gopher quarterback Adam Weber became just the 5th Big Ten quarterback to throw for 10,000 yards. Weber finished the game with 10,199 career yards after completing 26-of-49 passes for 299 yards on the day. Da'Jon McKnight caught 3 touchdown passes and accounted for 103 yards.
