The Minnesota Gophers are on the road this weekend in Madison, Wisconsin. The Gophers go into the series with a 12-12-4 record, so needless to say a sweep would be huge for us. The Wiconsin Badgers are 19-10-1 on the year, and 13-4-1 on the season at home, as the Kohl Center is not an easy place to play in. The Wisconsin Badgers have several Minnesota connections. Defenseman Jake Gardiner is a Minnetonka native, Tyler Barnes played at Burnsville, Jason Clark is from Eden Prairie, Joe Faust is from Bloomington, and Jordy Murray is from Faribault, Minnesota.
