The College Hockey Showcase is this weekend and will feature 4 big time programs: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan State. All 4 teams are from the Big Ten Conference and the tournament will be played at Mariucci Arena. The Minnesota Gophers hope to solve their recent Mariucci Arena woes. The Minnesota Gophers will play the Michigan State Spartans on Friday night and the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday, since the football team will be playing on Saturday night. Go Gophers! Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Should be a good test for the rodents as they play against some different style teams. I have a feeling this is going to be all out up and down the ice hockey this "wknd"....my prediction is Kangas starts Friday, Patterson on Sunday...I hope we show up on the Sunday aft. game...that would be a big win for us...love out of conference wins!...
