Minnesota Gophers 38, Illinois Fighting Illini 34
The Minnesota Gophers snapped their 9 game losing streak and defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini in Champaign. It was a wild game and had an even better ending. Running back DeLeon Eskridge scored a 2 yard touchdown with 16 seconds remaining in the game. It was his 3rd touchdown of the game. Quarterback Adam Weber was 20 of 26 for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns. He played a phenomenal game. The Gophers overcame a 10 point 4th quarter deficit to beat the Illini. Next week the Minnesota Gophers have a bye and then finish their regular season with the Iowa Hawkeyes at TCF Bank Stadium.
