Minnesota Gophers 27, Iowa Hawkeyes 24
The Minnesota Gophers defeated the #24 Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday evening by a score of 27 to 24. It allowed the Gophers to win their first rivalry trophy since 2006, winning The Floyd of Rosedale. Duane Bennett scored with 4:31 left in the game. Adam Weber threw for 164 yards and finished as the #3 passer in Big Ten history (in yards). He started all 50 career games for the Minnesota Gophers. Congratulations to the seniors who went out with a victory against a rival!
