Minnesota Gophers Lose to Michigan State, Defeat Michigan
The Minnesota Gophers were defeated by the Michigan State Spartans 5-2 on Friday night and rebounded to defeat the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday afternoon 3-1. On Friday night, the Spartans scored 3 times in 9 minutes in the first period to take the lead. They would not look back and played better than Minnesota. On Sunday, the Minnesota Gophers played great and defeated #8 Michigan 3-1. Alex Kangas made 36 saves and Nate Condon, Nick Larson, and Erik Haula scored.
