The Gopher mens basketball team had a solid season considering the previous year statistics that haunted them throughout the year. The Gophers had an 11 win turnaround and ended the season 20-14. The 11 game improvement was the biggest in University of Minnesota history. Some of Gopher Gals favorite gopher mens basketball players: Blake Hoffarber and Al Nolen.
Next year should be just as exciting with a few returning faces and then Tubby Smiths new recruits. Word on the street is that the Gopher basketball roster will be one of the tallest in the Big Ten.
