Gopher Football looks to the future

With this season's Golden Gopher football schedule barely started it is hard to think that the Gopher football program is already thinking about the next 5 years schedules. After settling games with non-conference opponent North Carolina, the Gophers have schedules set for 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014. After nailing down one more game for each the 2012 and 2015 season the Gophers will have their schedules set for the next 6 years.

"Our upcoming non-conference schedules are very exciting for three reasons," said head football coach Tim Brewster. First and foremost, these games are important from the standpoint of recruiting. Then, it is also exciting for our fan base and for our football team. It is inspiring for all three of those groups to play challenging non-conference schedules like we're going to play."

I love to think that I can already start planning for next seasons Gopher football! Go Gophers!

I have got to get to a game THIS YEAR before I start planning for the future - LOL! Gopher Gal, have you been inside the new football stadium yet?

I hear it is amazing, but Gopher football tickets are expensive! and I hear parking is a mess so you should buy a parking pass before you go.

What would you like to see more of on this blog?
