Minnesota Gophers Split With UAA Seawolves

Aaron NessThe Minnesota Gophers split a weekened series with the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves over the weekend at Mariucci Arena. On Friday night, the Gophers were buzzing around the rink all night and defeated the Seawolves handily 5-1. There were 5 different scorers for the Gophers in the game. Unfortunately, the Gophers could not duplicate the success on Saturday night. Alaska Anchorage responded with a 1-0 victory. The decisive goal came early in the 3rd period. A sweep would have been nice.
