The Minnesota Gophers broke their Friday night losing streak with a win over St. Cloud State. The win will hopefully break the 'Friday night curse' forever.The victory expanded Minnesota's lead over the Bulldogs, who tied 4-4 with Michigan Tech, in the WCHA race to three points.
The No. 3 rated Gophers came into this home-and-home series with the Huskies 1-5 on Fridays against their past six WCHA opponents.
