The Gophers men's basketball team is looking down at a tough finish to their schedule, with 5 of their last 7 games coming against ranked opponents. This means that the Gophers really needed the win over the Cornhuskers on Sunday.Good thing they won 69-61! The Gopher outscored the Cornhuskers 16-6 to begin the second half. With more defense from the Gophers and an Austin Hollins feed to Rodney Williams, resulting in a slam dunk, gave the Gophers a 10-point lead.
With the tough finish to their schedule, the Gopher will take any momentum they can get.
