Wrapping up a second straight struggle of a Big Ten season, the Minnesota Gophers ended on a high note with a 81-69 win over Nebraska.
Chip Armelin scored a career-high 20 points with seven rebounds, Rodney Williams had 16 points and eight rebounds along with three outstanding dunks as Minnesota stopped a six-game losing streak.
The Gophers, the No. 10 seed, open the Big Ten Tournament against No. 7 Northwestern on Thursday.
