Gopher Denver Games Recap

We found Friday maddening as the Gophers fell to Denver in a 2-0 loss.

So, let's talk about that win on Saturday. Minnesota rebounded from that bad loss Friday night with a huge effort and win on Saturday. The No.2 Minnesota men's hockey team scored five unanswered goals, including four in the third period, as the Gophers picked up a 5-1 win. Now the Gophers are tied for second in WCHA with two more games to go. Zach Budish had four points (two goals and two assists) to tie his career-high to help the win.
