2013 NHL Entry Draft and Gophers!
Exciting news for Gopher fans everywhere! Some incoming freshmen from the Minnesota men's hockey program were selected in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. The lucky hockey players include Tommy Vannelli, Taylor Cammarata, Hudson Fasching and Michael Brodzinski. We are sure they are more than excited about their possible futures. First however, they'll wear the Gopher jersey's this fall and hopefully help the team make it to win the Big Ten Conference title. That would be great, wouldn't it? These new players will join 11 other Gophers on the current roster (and 191 all-time) who have been drafted in the NHL. Although we don't want to loose these hockey players, we will let them leave and go on to bigger and better things. Just goes to show that Gophers hockey players are the most talented!
