Personally, I like the Gopher mascot. It's unique and funny! Not too overplayed like, say a wildcat, and fits well with the Minnesota themes.
Personally, I don't think the Gophers would be the same without Goldy!

Do you like the Gopher Mascot?
It has come to my attention that some Gopher fans don't really like Goldy the Gopher. Really? Let's weigh in here with our other Gopher fans: If you could redo the Gopher mascot, what else would you choose?
Personally, I like the Gopher mascot. It's unique and funny! Not too overplayed like, say a wildcat, and fits well with the Minnesota themes.
