The Minnesota Gophers continue their free fall and lost to the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday in East Lansing, Michigan. With the loss, the Minnesota Gophers fell to 1-9 on the season and the Spartans improved to 9-1. There were not many highlights for the Gophers, as the Michigan State running back Edwin Baker ran for 179 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Gophers will play the Illinois Fighting Illini next weekend in Champaign, Illinois.
