The Wisconsin Badgers defeated the Minnesota Gophers 6-0 on Friday night and tied 3-3 on Saturday night at Mariucci Arena. The Minnesota Gophers only gained 1 point out of the series and have to be disappointed with the 6-0 shutout on Friday. They jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Saturday and a 3-2 lead but allowed the tying goal with 2 minutes left. The Minnesota Gophers must improve defensively if they want to move up in the WCHA. Next weekend they will play at Michigan Tech.
