Gophers will share TCF Stadium with the Vikings

While the Vikings wait for the HHH Metrodome to be replaced with the new stadium guaranteed last week, they will be playing at the TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota.

The Vikings playing there means large changes, including winterizing the entire stadium and changes to the facility itself. While this will not be the first time the Vikings play at the Gophers' stadium, they played at the U of M's stadium back in 2010 after the collapse of the Metrodome's ceiling, it will be the first time such dramatic changes will be made. After all, a whole season (up to four) is completely different than a handful of games.

Vikings fans may not only have to get used to a different location, but a different alcohol policy. Regent Dean Johnson has been adamant that alcohol needs to be controlled on a college campus.

Will you be attending any games at the TCF Bank Stadium?
