Taylor Cammarata, a Gophers recruit, named USHL's Rookie of the Year

Golden Gophers' hockey is going to get pretty interesting in the coming years... one player, already committed to the University of Minnesota, has been named Rookie of the Year by the United States' Hockey League. Taylor Cammarata, who plays for the Waterloo Black Hawks, and only the second Black Hawk to receive the honor, received national recognition last week for his impressive record and was voted Rookie of the Year by a group of USHL coaches and managers. He was also chosen first overall by the Black Hawks for the USHL Futures Draft last year.
